I have launched a new area of my site called "HEY by tofslie". It is a place which allows me to share my Ideas, Research, Findings and much more with you. I love to learn and explore both in the realm of knowledge and wisdom. This is my way to collect it, and share it.
My dad took a few photos down by the Yellowstone river back home in Montana. I really do miss it there. Very rugged and pure.
We launched three new Nike Golf sites over the break and one more to come. I will be posting them in the portfolio area soon. But the other fun project I just accuired is a 1979 GMC C1500 Stepside with a 350 V8. It will be nice to tackle a project that is not computer related for a change. It has a rebuilt engine and tranny, needs a bit of tune up work. I will be redoing the worn paint with a high gloss black finish. That should make this baby look awesome. I will then little by little fix up and replace the Wooden Bed and work on the interior. I will keep you updated as I hit some good milestones.
It was time for a refresh of my portfolio, as you can see, it has happened. This time around I tried to create an easy way to navigate but also show my projects in compelling and unique display manner.
Just relaunched nikegolf.com under a new look and feel and partial redesign. It is now much cleaner, organized and easier to use. I also have a ton of work I will be posting as soon as it goes live. But before I do, I will take a few days to sleep.
The site we have been working hard on for the past few month, the one that I went to Vancouver, BC and shot... well, it is finally done. Check it out.
All is not quiet on the western front. After putting in 80 hours last week I am still at the healm.
The video shoot went great. Now comes the fun (hard) part of creating this awesome site. Vancouver BC is a really beautiful area. The city was cool too, but man the homelessness in the city is staggering. It is way worse than even San Francisco. I found out after talking to a friend that their government thought it was be a great idea to try and integrate the mentally challenged into society, then proceeded to shut down the mental hospitals. That sure backfired.
We just launched the new drmartens.com. Some of my favorite aspects of the site I came up with include the unique way to view the shoes in the product wall area. The client wanted a unique way to display their shoes. Dr. Martens whole idea behind their new look was spontaneity. So I took their shoes, threw them in a pile and said, here you go. They loved it. Go figure. Anyway this whole area of the site is a refreshing way to browse shoes and the in the end the site turned out pretty well.
This is going to be a busy next month for myself and the gang here at Summit. We just landed a cool interactive site for OXY. I will be flying to Canada to help with a shoot here in a few weeks. Should be a blast.
